Biff is still hanging in there. Not swimming, but happy to eat a couple of pellets a day. He never would eat his pea. He still just lays in his net. When I let him out- well, make him get out- he just lays on the bottom like a paraplegic, wiggling his head as if he's trying to swim, but can't move his tail fins. I feel sorry for him and hope he recovers. His condition doesn't seem to be getting worse, but it also doesn't seem to be improving so I don't know what to do. I'll probably try calling a few pet stores tomorrow for advice, though I'm sure they won't be able to offer any more than what I've already read online. Most people that work at pet stores are just another dingwad like me with a general knowledge of the various animals.

I remember when Rah bought it for me, the lady at the pet store told her not to bother putting a plant in a little bowl cuz it would just die. Well, now it's been 3 months and the thing is fluffy as can be! Each leaf tip is sprouting a few more new leaves.. like I'm living in a jungle now.

Rah scraped out most of the algae for me- she puts it in with the brine shrimp who, after about three weeks now, are still alive! Wonder if she's ever going to feed them to me.. she's starting to treat them like pets now too...

When our company was here, I waited until the last day to make a bubble nest for them. They left so quickly that morning, they didn't get to see it. I've maintained it though- this one's just a thin bubble layer on the whole surface of the water. It's more fun this way! When Rah feeds me, she looks around for a break in the bubbles for a place to put the food. Ha ha!
